so it starts in 2016. i had a friend who really liked kpop & wanted me to get into it. i already stanned other things at the time so i never really paid too much attention. she would always send posts, videos, and edits and i would just comment like “ohh that’s cute” “oh that’s nice” ... pretty basic stuff like that. because of her, fire was my first music video. fun fact, on the day of bst release, i actually watched it that exact same day because of her and i didn’t even give it a chance (i was so annOYINGHSKSH). from looking back, i discovered that taehyung was the first bts member i thought was cute & that vmin was my first ship LMAO. fast forward to 2017. i had friends who really liked bts who edited and i would always hear about them. i knew more about the community and i honestly just wasn’t interested in companies making groups bc i thought it felt fake or something. idk but i never really tried to get into them and just listened to ppl. even in 2017 tho, i corrected ppl on kpop and bts which is actually pretty funny. THEN TO 2018. when fake love was released, i tried to watch it (aka watch 30 seconds and clicked out) and said i couldn’t get into bts HAKSJSJ. but from that point i was genuinely sad that i couldn’t get into them? and i was even emo during bbmas 2018 bc they were so cute but i couldn’t get into them LIKE i have a video of me zooming into jimin and calling them cute HAHA. BUT. on may 26 2018 at 8am on a saturday morning.. the ellen video was in my recommended and BOOM. i thought the interview was super cute and funny & i rly liked the airplane pt2 performance. from that point on, i fell into the hole of bts <3

p.s. my bias story: after 3 days of struggling to memorize names, i realized after watching the aladdin fansign video on may 29, 2018 that park jimin was my bias :
